Home Nursing ServicesOne of our core activities is the placing of nurses in homes. Our holistic
approach to the
healthcare of the terminally ill and elderly has been one of the main
reasons why we are
the preferred supplier to most major hospitals in Gauteng, doctors in
private practice and
all medical aids and managed healthcare organisations. In addition,
we do all sick call and
leave replacement coverage so that there is no disruption of service.
Unique Nursing Services has dedicated staff for all contracts and we pride ourselves on the fact that we are sensitive to each client's specific needs. We interview the medical professional and match those skills to the client's needs. Should a client need a nurse in an area where we do not have our own staff, we will then network with other nursing agencies to try and get the best service for that person, whether it be in a rural or urban area. At Unique Nursing Services, we believe that we must not only be professional but also look that way. Our nurses therefore all wear name tags and conform to a strict uniform policy. For home care clients, we work very closely with the client's doctor and work according to his orders only. A medical report is also drawn up on a weekly basis on the client for both the client's medical aid and doctor.
